Belgium hasn't been alive very long to begin with, as it's only 1864. There are Flemish independence movements to this day, so I don't think it's unreasonable for many of the people of Flanders to support Dutch reunification in this time period.
Yes I'm from Belgium and no I'm not complaining, but I'm just giving my input, don't worry ;) Afaik at that time the poorer folks spoke mostly Dutch and might welcome rejoining the Dutch, but especially the French-speaking elite who owned and controlled much of the Belgian industrial landscape will resist heavily against Dutch rule. As shown before their protests/rebellion had incited the entire populance to rebel against the Dutch, and I think that just because of their relatively short-lived independance a quasi-seamless reconquest will go unopposed. I understand that the Dutch intend to restore the 'Industrial South, Trading North' program of before the Belgian Independance, but I don't think that that will have much succes unless you force the French-speaking elite out of their rich positions, which will undoubtedly create a lot of bad blood in other bourgeosie elites in all of Europe. Unless ofcourse I'm not getting the point of what the Dutch are doing atm.
