Kido took one of the ropes and a paper. Some of these looked really complicated...Oh, there was an easy one he could start with right there! Happily, he took the ends of the rope and tried to move it in the same way the diagrams showed. [i]Over...under...turn around...over again...[/i] 

"Oh, it didn't work." Looking from the strange looking knot he had tied to the diagram and back, it took him a brief moment to see where he had gone wrong. "Oh, it just went over the wrong way. I'll just try again..." Taking the rope in both hands again, he untied it and kept going.
