[/quote] I've been seriously considering Dewey winning in '44 or '48, and then re-elected, then I guess I'll have to see who gets elected in '52. A consequence of Dewey's election however could very well be no 22nd Amendment, as it was primarily a Republican backed bill aimed at preventing a Democratic domination of the presidency(mainly due to FDR's four terms and Truman's subsequent election).
