“One of the greatest thing humans have ever created, if I do say so myself. . .” Kuro murmurs, looking over at Aoba once in a while while measuring out what he needs for the sauce. He chuckles softly. “It took me forever to try it since it doesn't naturally come with meat, me can be added of course to enhance the flavor, but after trying it for the first time, I became a little obsessed and began experimenting on different ways to make it, and now I think I have a great recipe you might like.” He half shrugs, mixing all the sauce fixings together. The thick creamy orange stuff swirls around and as he flicks the flame on under it Kuro dips in a clean finger to taste it real quick. Sticking his finger in his mouth he lets out a long satisfied hum before tuning to Aoba with a wink. “It's called mac and cheese. Simple, but when made right, as you would put it, heavenly. . .” He chuckles, moving around Aoba to the drawer with the spices to put the rest away. Patting him on the head on the way back to the stove he says kindly, “They don't have to be perfect, just manageable. You're doing a good job of it, but try to relax, let it flow. . .Cooking is a mix of science, and art. The science is easy, the art, now that takes practice.” Checking the larger pot he trows in the noodles now that the water is at a boil, then sets about getting the dishes and cutlery ready. Pulling the stove open he quickly checks the bread crumbs, the spices settling in nicely, before turning off the oven now that they are lightly toasted. ~*~*~*~*~ Now braced for the sight Fenrir once more lifts the mirror up and gazes into it. Wiping a tear from his cheek he lets out a long sigh, watching the angel work calmly and diligently beside the demon, the natural touch of fear in his hear for Aoba somehow dulled to see such a domestic interaction. With one last sigh the arch angel sets the mirror aside, wrapping it up tight and settles into bed. “Tomorrow, I'll start looking up how to get it upgraded. . .Gotta be careful. . .I'm not suppose to be the one with it, though since the parents turned it down. . .I wonder what the laws are on such things. . .” Rolling on his side, the angel is soon asleep. ~*~*~*~*~ Kuro hums a little tune as he works, mixing the sauce absentmindedly before looking to Aoba. “By the way, when your done chopping, just slide those right into the sauce, er, this little pot with the orange goo, heh.”
