Peter listened to her... He had no idea what she saw, and he had no intention of making her tell him. He just held her, and let her cry (although it broke his heart, he knew there wouldn't be much he could do). "I'm not going anywhere... and with us two out there, neither is the city." Peter said with confidence. "If you keep your morals straight, and don't give in to whatever these crooks you face did, you'll be alright..." Then there was a small pause. "And I know you'll protect me, and I think you already know that i'll do anything to protect you...But if i'm in a situation where there is no way to save me... save yourself." He knew it was rather blunt, but it was true. He didn't want her to risk her life in an attempt to save his... If there was a way that she could see that could save both, then he wouldn't mind... but iff she sacrificed herself for him, he would feel incredibly guilty... "I know it was a tough first night in the town... but I think you and I deserve some rest. Maybe a blanket and a movie at my place or yours." He said with a soft smile, gently lifting her head from his chest, and putting his forehead on hers. He had no intention of leaving or losing this girl. She was stuck with him for hopefully the rest of his life.
