Doc, I think you can still go with whatever original plot you had. The characters are just going to be a little different, for the most part. I may be the only person who actually stuck to your design, but I think even different species could take the same sides in the drama. 

Looking forward to your post, but I want to get started soon. I am really looking forward to animating my two characters.
