Serenity moaned as two shots hit her arm and leg. The pain was excruciating. She closed her eyes and concentrated, like she had never done before, allowing a force field to protect her from the shots. Even so, multiple cuts ran down her body. A loud noise that half sounded like a scream came out of her mouth. The water surrounding her was turning bright red. 

"Why..?" She managed to wheeze out "Do you know..?" Her lips refused to speak the word, Lunarian. Serenity just couldn't understand why someone would kidnap her, unless they knew. Knew her secret. Why did she have to be the last Lunarian? Sometimes she wished she would of died with them. Tears streamed down Serenity's face, for she knew the force field wouldn't hold for long. Her concentration couldn't last when she was in this much pain. "Stop.. Please.." Serenity couldn't bear to think about what would happen when the force field disappeared.
