Chase jumped as she saw the vampire hanging upside down from a tree branch nearby. Her white scarf unfurled itself from her neckand fell softly on the mucky ground below her feet. Fantastic, she sarcastically thought. She picked up the white scarf, stained with mud and dirt, and held it in her hand before looking back at the man. "I'm observing," Chase said softly, "to see what the real world looks like beyond undead eyes." It was quite interesting how this man looked care-free, his body dangling upside down with his feet as support. He has probably known his vampire status; which is unfortunate for her, since she is new in the vampire enterprise. Chase broke the awkward gaze and looked back to the odd couple. "And what are you doing all the way here? Trying to find food, perhaps?" For a new vampire, she is buried with the stereotypical thoughts of what they are: bloodsuckers, flawless seducers, ugly but witty. But it was funny how some of these options have no evidence of reality. Well, besides the bloodsucking part. The short, and maybe meaningless conversation ended as soon as the SOLDIER guy asked questions to the inhabitants of the forest and headed slowly to the forest- to Chase and the other vampire- with a gun equipped to on his hand. Chase stopped and became frozen in fear, seeing the gun that can be a murder weapon to her. She slowly mumbled something out, but that was unknown even to Chase herself. If she stays quiet, then maybe, he won't pull the trigger. But as he continued to closely be in sight, the smell of blood, and the thumping of his heart rang ears and filled the taste buds of the young vampire. She shivers in more fear, her mumblings progressing into something more unknown.
