Dawnfire stood still, a pained look on her face. Her hair curled about her and her fists tightened at her sides. There was nothing they could do. Grief was a powerful. It was so distorting. Even Viran could not fight it back. She wanted to help her friend, but there was nothing she could do. Nothing at all. In this she was powerless. Powerless. To think she could of almost taken down that monster once and for all. The thought pierced through her as if a laser gun and shot through her chest. Her green eyes spilled tears, her silent agonized expression like a statue's and nothing more. Steel passed out an order and it took a moment for her to register it. Warn everyone. Tell everyone. Let Viran alone. She could of stopped this, yet she was not strong enough! The elder had died due to her incompetence. Clenching her eyes shut, she reopened them and nodded toward Steel. But just as she was about to shoot off into the sky a voice called out to her. Hesitating, she turned her head slowly. Then the rest of her turned too. His swords were drawn. Pointed at her, yet her blazing green eyes burned into the visage before her. "Not possible," she stated in a shaky breath before turning away from the illusion, "I must be fatigued..."
