The Elite sent forth a flurry of energy bursts, too quickly for Belle to even react to. Though she never had to. Before she knew it, purple mirrors of light had appeared before her, absorbing the bursts and sending them back at the attacker. Belle looked to her side as the girl in black rushed to her side. It was her doing? It seemed to be as such, for she didn't seem all that thrilled with having to do so in the first place. Kiara had asked her to... The girl with the sword then? They had seemed rather familiar with battle, which made Belle happy they had been on her side as well. "You shall join or die!" Belle looked to the Elite as he rocketed toward them, halberd at the ready to impale all in his way. She took her staff in both hands, taking a readied stance and blocking the halberd's mighty blow. Just barely, however, for the might the attack was enough to make her slide back and even buckled under the pressure. It took everything in her to hold back the Elite, pressing her down with ease. Belle merely scoffed though, gritting her teeth as she held her own. "And to think... I was going to... Sneak you some soda... Instead of juice..." Belle teased through clenched teeth. She could hardly focus though, between the pressure of the Elite and the sight of Kiara falling to the ground. Things were not looking good for them, only having the soldiers stalking toward Melody's table make it worse. This was just wrong... This wasn't supposed to be happening. Belle's grip on the staff tightened as the thoughts circled her mind. "I'm seriously.. Getting... Ticked off!" Belle faltered back suddenly, letting the Elite come forward and swinging her staff into his abdomen. A mighty blast of wind sent him bashing into the ceiling, Belle quickly moving to her feet and swinging her staff with a flick of her wrist, the chained linked whip reaching across to the soldiers and slashing them back suddenly. Belle twirled as she stepped forward, gaining momentum as she swung her whip at them again, only this time with swirls of flames forming and encasing the whip. The soldiers shrieked as they we knocked back, embers dancing about as the whip slashed into them. Belle merely flicked her whip back into a staff, still encased in swirls of magical flame. "You don't have to like me," Belle admitted finally, referring to the girl in black as if nothing had happened. She then finally looked to the girl with a genuine smile, her eyes bright with confidence. "But at least we can have each other's backs, right?" THWACK! Belle felt a sudden blow to her side, sending her tumbling to the ground. It was the Elite, back on his feet and striking her out of nowhere. But how? What did it take to keep him down? Belle gasped for air, the wind knocked right out of her, as the Elite stalked toward the girl in black. "I've had about enough of all these antics and acts of rebellion," he said sternly, sounding more and more aggravated with each step he took. "You WILL come with us, whether it be dead or alive. And if it must be by death..." The Elite stopped suddenly in from of the girl, raising his halberd high above his head. "So be it." "Stop..." The Elite held his position, looking down as something took hold of his leg. Belle had grabbed him by the ankle, pulling herself toward him as best as she could. "I... Won't let... You..." The man merely scoffed, kicking Belle away as if she were a piece of trash. "Fine, the waitress wants to be the hero now? I'll start with you!"
