As he goes back to prepping what they will be eating with Kuro remembers when he first began cooking. It had been difficult to fine somewhere to actually do the cooking, stoves not really a public thing, so he actually had to content himself with grills and bonfires for a while. Cooking that way had been disastrous until he figures out what one could and could not make that way, with many odd looks by those who happen to pass by wondering what he was doing trying to bake a cake on an open flame. 'That would have been very funny, looking at it from the outside, and my sibling sure thought so. The ones what I saw when I began trying were real asses about it all. . .Not that they were great cooks, or even good cooks. I think it was more the fact that I was trying to cook that they found funny than anything else' His head turns at the sound of Aoba moving and he smiles and nods as he slips the celery into the cheese sauce. 'Just the right amount of sharp to blend with the crisp and the cream. Lovely' Filling two cups with water he places them on the coffee table, no kitchen table yet present in the house, and settles the cutlery just so, taking pleasure in doing something he knows how to do. When at last everything looks right he's back at the stove in a flash, mixing, stirring, sniffing, tasting. Pulling out a strainer he looks over to where the angel is cleaning up and lets out a sift sigh. 'I need him to move, but he looks so adorable like this. . .Especially in that shirt and. . .' He shakes his head, clearing away a bit of the perversion before snapping his attention up to what the young angel is actually saying. He thinks about it for a second, honestly wondering, but highly doubting, that Dani would even touch anything that not only has no meat in it, but has been dead and processed. 'Ah well, it couldn't hurt' he muses with a shrug. “I don't know, most likely not, but if you think it worth the asking, go for it!” Handing him a small towel to dry his hands the demon place s his hand on Aoba's back and moves him towards the door with a little nudge. “Go for it Little Mouse, he's more likely to say yes if you ask.” Once Aoba is out of the way he drops the colander into the sinks and grabs the pot of noddles after turning the stove off, and strains out the water carefully. 'I hope he doesn't think I was shooing him out of the kitchen' Shrugging he goes about finishing dinner, wondering about this and that. Once the cheese and celery are mixed in properly Kuro ladles out two portions, one per bowl, and scoops up a handful of the spiced bread crumbs, scattering them over the top of the mach until there is a good layer across the top. The mac, now mostly hidden by a brown mass, is set out on the counter to cool as Kuro waits to see if Dani will be dinning with them this evening. Kuro meanwhile summons a container to store leftovers in and rinses out the remaining dishes. Placing them all carefully on the growing pile in the drying rack he hums softly, the tension rising for every moment Aoba is out of his sight. 'I know Dani can not hurt him, and he will defend him, however any time I can't see him, I can not help but worry. . . .I wonder why. . . .'
