Dark Matter would later rematerialized back in the sewers of Jump City. Though he said that he was going to go back to work, frankly he didn't care for it right now. He just wanted a pizza, maybe some Thrifty Ice Cream. Maybe just explore these sewers; there was usually something going on down here. Dark Matter slithered along, listening to the roaring sound of the sewer water rush past him. Suddenly he heard... Gunshots? Down here? Now that was something worth looking into. Dark Matter hopped onto the surface of the sewage, disguised as scum water. He navigated himself through the currents to find the source of the sound, and soon enough he saw some familiar faces. Well, just one. It was that Titan chick from before, the one who erected barriers around the other titans and made it difficult for him to get rid of them. There was another person, some sort of huge dude, shooting at her. She seemed to be using her force field to protect herself while this guy just kept shooting. Dark Matter nearly jumped into action, but stopped. He needed to... Observe. See what was going to happen.
