Aoba dried his hands and nodded. He knew there was no guarantee that Dani would accept the offer, but the fallen angel felt it was still nice to ask. He then gets shooed out the kitchen and he smiled. "Okay, if you think so." He walked off, leaving Kuro to finish making the meal. It didn't look like his help was needed much after he had finished cutting celery so it was best to stay out of the way. The air had chilled as it grew darker, but there was a pretty night sky and the stars shined bright. He looked off into the trees where the lower demons had constantly hid away. It made him shudder and grow cold for a moment, but he didn't stop walking. He had almost forgotten how dangerous it was. Twice, no three times, demons had lurked around to attack and/or capture him. He wasn't all that special though, besides the fact that he was a fallen angel, there wasn't much else he could put to his name. And Aoba didn't think being a fallen meant 'special'. He shook his head of the thoughts and pulled the barn door open- enough to slip through. Dani had already scented the male before he came in, so he was sitting up and staring down at the door with curious eyes. Seeing Aoba walk in, Dani jumped down and crossed his arms. "What are you doing here?" Dani was genuinely curious. It was late and he could have sworn Kuro said something about making food for the toy. By the light growls of his stomach, obviously he hadn't eaten. It was dark in the barn, but he didn't bother looking for any lights, and Aoba didn't mind either. The two let the moonlight be their source of light. "Well?" He asked after some silence as Aoba pondered over how to ask him. His eyes adjusted to the dim light and he looked at Dani. "Well, I helped Kuro make food. He said it's called Mac and Cheese. I was wondering if you wanted some as well. Since you're sitting in here all by yourself, I thought you might want a little company." He shrugged a little, but had a hopeful look in his eye. Not hopeful that he would join, but hopeful that he'd at least say no nicely. Kuro did say it wasn't likely that he would want to join, so he didn't get his hopes up too high. He waited quietly as Dani at first gave a look of mild surprise before looking him over more thoroughly. He kept his thoughts to himself, not needing to be attacked by Kuro again. "Mac and Cheese. . ?" He knew what it was, and didn't exactly care to eat human's good that had been cooked and the likes. He very much so preferred raw food...preferably the stuff he could hunt. He definitely couldn't hunt what was in a box. . . But the odd look in Aoba's eyes made him sigh. Why was it so hard to refuse all of a sudden? "Fine. I guess I could get some." He expected that to be all, so he turned planning to wait for Aoba to return with the food. "Really? Wait, where are you going?" At the confused sound, Aoba pointed to the door. "The foods inside the house. Come on. . .?" Not only had he offered him food, but he invited the demon inside to eat. 'This is one odd angel. . .' Dani turned around and began following Aoba out the barn. With a little courtesy, he closed it behind them. There was no need for the animals to be attacked by scavengers.
