Leena let out a gasp. For some reason everything just skipped by her in a flash. One moment she was talking to the man who approached her at the café, and the next he had turned into a huge green version of himself. She had to say though, now she believed him. Leena recalled the semi-usual checkups the government did in search of mutants or freaks. She often had to hide during those times, keeping herself locked in a small basement or fleeing town for the day, but it seemed that now she couldn’t hide any longer. In fact, she couldn’t hide at all. She stared as the man fought the huge robots, her mouth opened in surprise. He was focused on the few directly in front of him, but a few were quickly approaching from across the street. Someone must have signaled for assistance, calling them over. With a sigh she ran a hand through her hair. With one arm she waved at the new girl, and other man to watch out. “Might want to plug your ears. Could be a bit loud.” She muttered towards them, lifting one hand towards the running robots. Then, she snapped her fingers. The entire end of the street disappeared in a huge blast. Black smoke swirled towards the sky and a hot wind rushed over them from the impact. The robots were gone, and somehow, Leena had managed to do minimal damage to the street around her.
