Etsuko finally heard the last snap of the lock as he carefully opened the door. "Follow me when you're done. The others will be waiting for us." He explained to the wolf, who he knew as female now. Etsuko's green eyed flicked around to the other cages. There were so many animals to free but he couldn't get to all of them, not with the time they had left. One of the men had dropped his buckets, spilling food and water everywhere. "You damned idiot! Go get a mop and clean it up!" One of the men yelled at the other. Etsuko would have laughed at the misfortune of the man if it wasn't for the fact that they could get caught. He kind of liked living...and hot dogs. Mm, he was getting hungry but this was no time to listen to his stomach! He kept an eye out for the men. Etsuko ducked behind several of the cages when he caught sight of human shaped shadows through the bars of the cages. He quickly looked back at the wolf before turning his attention back to the shadows. "Damned animals!" With a rough kick to one of the cages, the man continued to grumble. Etsuko found a small way out behind a few cages that held a few lions. They'd probably be fed last because they were in the back of the holding center and he doubted any of the men wanted to get close to the lions even with the cages protecting them from the big cats. "This way, come on." Etsuko whispered to the wolf as he made his way behind the cages. The lions were transfixed on the moving shadows near the first row. Feeding time was soon. The roars let out by the hungry lions aided in masking Etsuko's footsteps. The small space behind the cages ended at the entrance of another door. Etsuko knew that it would lead down a small hallway that held a few offices; He'd done his research on this place. Well when it was the only place that he could roam around without the worry of wolf hunters, since they weren't allowed in the holding center, Etsuko became pretty good at remembering where to go. From the small hallway they would need to take the stairs to the next floor, which held faked name-brand clothing and stolen jewelry. Then they would just need to take the main stairs down to the first level. It would be easy to pick up the scents of the other wolves if Etsuko could guess on which side they would have taken. "This way," He said. It wasn't until they had made it to the safety of the small hallway when the men had finally realized that a few animals were missing. With shouts of anger the men began to call out for more men to join them in looking for the escaped animals, or they used radios to have the guards keep an eye out for anything. One even began to scream and curse at another man. "This is your fault you idiot! We told you not to get attached to those animals!" The man tried to weakly admit that he wasn't the one that had let them go.
