Many people never understood Peter. And to be honest, he didn't think that there will ever be a person who understands what he's truly gone through. He can't remember what his parents looked like from memory. He doesn't know what the gentle touch of a mother feels like, he doesn't even remember their voices.... and he fears the day when he can't remember Uncle Ben's struggle to be a dad to him. Through all the humiliation and torture at school, Uncle Ben would do his best to make Peter feel better. Telling him stories, working on photographs, doing anything to make Peter feel human, and not a freak... But he was gone. Spider-Man had left him with so many cuts and scars, and the huge sense of responsibility... But Lexi Rogers was someone who tried to understand him. Who makes him feel more than human, and takes away all the scars and fears... Peter's arms went to her waist, his eyes closed, he gently rubbed his nose against hers, letting out a low exhale of breath. "And I love you, Lexi Rogers." Peter said gently. "More than a lyric loves a melody." He kissed her cheek. "More than bees love honey." A kiss to her neck. "And more than all the 'I love you's' ever said, whispered, or thought combined." Peter then kissed her soft lips.
