He's a man who, despite his age, loves to stay fit, and seems to have the energy of a youthful child. It is known that he has a bit of an obsession with the beasts of the earth (particularly lions) and with all manner of flying devices, from paper airplanes to blimps to spacecraft. On that note, he is not entirely opposed to paper airplanes being built in his class, and actually encourages his students to stretch their origami skills to the limit, giving a prize to the student who builds the most elaborate paper airplane. After graduating from high school, his senior trip turned into studying abroad in some of the most random places around the world rather than staying at any one college. His goal: Find and obtain at least one "Number" monster. That proved to be an exhausting task. By the time he first started teaching at Duel Academies, he still had yet to find even a single "Number". He thought that with around a hundred cards, they might be easier to find, but they're much smaller than the world. All of them evaded him until almost twenty years of searching just after his thirty-sixth birthday. Since that day, Professor Alexander has settled in Miami City to continue his teaching career, eventually leading the Xyz course at LDS where he still works today. (There is a drawer in his desk at the school which mysteriously is always locked. He has a very specific key that must be used to unlock said drawer, yet it has never been opened. He claims that inside is a piece of valuable treasure he obtained during his travels.)
