Well that wouldn't really work as well as you'd think. For one thing, air blowing on an object to move it is very different from forcing it to move independently. I could, for instance, pull a stone from a creek bed with telekinesis. But because it's under water you couldn't really reach it with your control of air, not without moving all of the water first, and holding it out of the way while your air surrounds and lifts the stone. It's just a much more wasteful way of manipulating objects. For another, depending on exactly what you were doing, you'd need air moving in all directions at once. It would take way more power with wind than anyone's likely to have. I have, however, put in a similar but distinct technique, with different pros and cons. Levitate.
Oh okay. I see what you mean. Yes, moving things just with air is possible, but its not really practical or efficient. Lol I guess that means crushing things with just air moving towards something from all sides is out of the question too1 > . < How about, as a skill for wind, the ability to open up mental channels of communication with other, none monks? You said the monks talked amongsts themselves in that fashion, right? Is there any reason it couldn't be done with others? Also, how about a wind based form of sensing like a monk can feel changes in the air around them for a certain distance? I'm not sure what it would be called, but what about the ability to see things through the eyes of others? It would be sort like talking but instead your seeing things with their eyes, or experiencing things with their senses, but just that, it's not a form of mind reading.
