Sounds like your friend is in quite the predicament. Though I do not personally understand why he would not want to roleplay as someone physically attractive. While I may be called out as shallow for that statement, to me beauty is less shallow than science and reasoning. Even the most simple minded of men can appreciate the regal qualities of a rose without any explanation as to why it is beautiful.
