Shade picked up the presence of someone following her. She still didn't know who it was but she had to be safe. Her hand slipped inside her jacket, curling around the pistol. She felt the spider designs and the name Kumo carved into the gun, before putting her finger on the trigger. She wasn't planning on shooting, but if someone tried to pickpocket her then they got what they deserved. Though it probably only going to be a gun to the head and not a bullet.
