"Maybe it's because I don't like people following me. And thanks for the complement on the gun. It was a momentous from the only person who really cared for me," she responded. With her other hand Shade reached into her jacket and pulled out the hair pin, putting it in her hair. The hairpin was one she usually wore. Shade just yet to put it on today. Everyone she had met since she started living on the streets would recognize the hairpin. It was an object that made Shade easy to identify.
