The Cloak eavesdropped on the small group making sure it was far away enough that it could hear them and size them up but it couldn't be heard one seemed to be a god and The Cloak kept that fresh in it's mind, maybe it could experiment on the god, maybe make a brand new form of minion for it's self from the fire god millions of thoughts and possibilities passed through it's head the others would also make intresting specimens but the fire god is what was on The Cloaks mind.
