Anyway, if the Andromeda was built with the same systems as the Yamato, which I assume it was for the most part, then it should have a multi purpose construction unit in Engineering that allows it to build, well, a lot of stuff, so I assume they have raw materials lying around for that, as well as hull repairs. Being transported when marshaling for a major fleet battle is convenient like that.
