Moments after Andrew had spoken his answer aloud, Mr. Descent began to speak again. By now, Andrew had pretty much gotten tired of his ramblings or whatever they were supposed to be. Andrew resumed his trip to the grocery store, but before he had taken ten paces, he heard and felt Mr. Descent snapping his fingers. A feeling of dread washed over Andrew as he stared at the crimson sky and the pentagram that had manifested on it. No normal hacker can do that, Andrew thouhght. He barely had time to react as a red light slammed into him, along withheat and pain Andrew had never felt before. His memories had become hazy after that, but just as he regained his senses, he heard screeching tires and metal rushing towards him. He turned to the source and saw a wrecked car nearly flying towards him. Frozen with fear, he threw his hands in front of him and squeezed his eyes shut. Andrew heard a rustling sound a cacophonous impact of metal on something. He opened his eyes and a glowing blue barrier had appeared in front of him and stopped the car completely. The barrier dissipated and he felt power surround him. Tentatively, he held his palm in front of him to release it, and a shockwave detonated, sending the car and its deceased occupant flying away.
