We can't know that. It was a lower leg fracture, and it wasn't his knee. So he won't have micro fracture knee surgery like Amare Stoudemire had. Amare might not have been the same player after that surgery but he still played on a VERY high level for a while until recently.

And bones have a habit of healing well, and even coming back stronger. So, I'm thinking Paul George will be alright. This isn't the same injury that Shaun Livingston had who injured every part of his knee.

George will be back. Whether he will be the same or not is something we'll have to see. I think he'll end up being fine.
