It is with great sadness that the French Empire must cancel this Treaty with the Netherlands in the interest of maintaining our Alliance with Britain. Though we wish to remain fully neutral in this war, we must remain considerate of our British Allies. Therefore this Treaty is Cancelled. We wish to join neither side in this European War and only desire peace. We will not offer aid to either side in this war. Whether through military action or economic.
