Maya got dressed in her red, long sleeve button up top and black skirt along with her white waist apron tied on. She pulled her auburn hair into a high ponytail and pulled on white thigh high stockings with black calf high combat boots. She looked at herself in the mirror and sighed, [i]yay, another day at the diner'[/i] Maya then walked out the door of her crappy apartment and walked down five flights to the front door. She exited her building and went down 10 blocks to the diner. She entered and went to the back to clock in. "Hey Maya!" The cook Pablo called out. "Hey Pablo." Maya said with a slight wave, no emotions reaching her face. Yeah it may seem like they are friends but it's just a friendly hello. She doesn't trust anyone anymore, not after everything that happened in her childhood. Maya picked up the notebook for orders and a pen and went out into the diner, a fake smile plastered on her face. A smile never reaching her eyes. Her name tag placed on a pocket of her top. She began her boring job and a boring day.
