The hatch has charges set around it that are supposed to pop the door off upon landing. Because of the damage she took in the battle she fought in space with the cons her pod has some slight problems. She's triggered the release but it didn't blow off like it should have. So trigger one of those and it will catch the rest and the door should pop right off.
