Jinny nodded, and headed where he'd directed her. Her stomach was twisting with nervousness as she silently treaded the yard, keeping her eyes and ears open for any danger. This was so much scarier than sneaking food from the kitchen. She hoisted herself over the next gate, as it was locked, but low enough for her to get over with a bit of acrobatics. She planted one foot in the middle of the gate, pushed off and swung her other leg over, before landing neatly on the other side. Then she checked the hinges. They were old, and looked rusty, probably ready to creak. "This gate is noisy." She whispered to Mr. Josh, grip still careful on the gun. "Jump over, it'll be quieter."
