That doesn't quite work with every spell, though. I'd think it would only work if the product of the spell was a projectile. And... I could be wrong but I think it would have to be solid?

If you want the character to do buffing it probably works better if they learned buffing spells outside of their affinity. It'd be more versatile. ^^;
