SDF Research and Development Report .................................... BEGIN REPORT .................................... DR RINAI TALMIN'GUM, SR RESEARCHER, SAZKARJHIA DEFENSE FIRM AUTONOMOUS R&D LABORATORY .................................... Work has begun on Operation WILDCARD to develop an autonomous hunter-killer machine. Below will be a list of specifications, but first the actual construct must be explained. Operation WILDCARD's purpose is to develop a fighting machine capable of acting on its own while having high intelligence. Our hunter-killer prototype has shown exemplary results, and had we not based it off of a MW-01 Mechanical All-Terrain Fighting Vehicle (MAT-FV) chassis, research and development would have taken much longer. The prototype has an extremely complicated photoreceptor system capable of receiving and perceiving light from all angles within its containment. This also allows the installation of viewscreens and sensor equipment. This makes it so it is capable of identifying friend or foe--even without an ally signal emitter. The prototype is also very intelligent, and is capable of speech with a well-developed vocabulator that can translate in Galactic Standard and Sazka. This allows the vehicle to also be able to relay information to fleeing civilians, and otherwise identify said civilians. Essentially, with this fighting machine in deployment, we can expect minimum casualties. The machine has a very impressive arsenal as well. Two high-power gauss cannons mounted on the side, four shoulder-mounted missile launchers (Each carrying five standard Type-11 Personal Anti-Armor Weapon missiles), and three autocannons: two on each side and one mounted on the underside. It is also capable of overloading the hydraulics in its legs to either jump a short distance or stomp with extreme force. Now, as this thing is, as you can see, a robotic death monger, we can privately send a killswitch codeword or a beacon depending on the situation. Not only will this render the machine temporarily inert, but it also purges data regarding mission information as well as machine specs. And if a certain tool is used that doesn't give off the right signal as SDF-licensed tools, packed explosives will detonate, rendering the robot to a nearly unrecognizable state. This could very well replace the mech program that can be dangerous for our soldiers. We only have a prototype which we plan to show at the Karboria Military Festival next month among other exhibits. We plan to have great success with this machine and hope to find it on the battlefield soon. ............................. END REPORT .............................
