Hmmm. . . Let's see if I can pose this the way I see it. . .

The source releases threads, which are energy, each thread made up of both positive and negative energy, condensed that way for Tahaan and Aysus to manipulate easier. The things are made by weaving with the threads, comprised of both types of energy, and the way they are weaved will lead the result to either be mostly positive or mostly negative, the remaining bits of thread left over what is to be used to create the balance of the original creation. The threads left over will almost never be pure negative, or pure positive, so that each creation will be made of both, to help find that stability the source seeks, however every creation will be more one than the other. 

So, other than a few minor bits, we mostly agree, I think :P What I have up there is just how my head wraps about it.
