@Maki Casanova: Okay, this doesn't usually bother me but I'm going to bring it up now: When an RP takes place in a certain country specifically, it should probably have a majority of characters from that country. Especially when you don't really have an explanation for his completely non-Japanese name there. ^^;

Also, gambling is... kiiind of really illegal in Japan and needs some major loopholes to get around it. I would think anywhere doing it would not be advertising itself too widely.

Also, why did he start saying the spell? ... Also spells are something in some language at the very least. Japanese spells will be in Japanese, English spells in English... though sometimes they get translated so people can speak them even if they can't speak the original language well.

Also, how did he join the Detective Agency? You don't really mention it. ^^;
