Gideon, Swimming Club Gideon woke in his bedroom. More specifically, in his fish-tank. Mentally stretching, he swirled around the huge aquarium in liquid form, admiring the architecture of the underwater Arthurian-style castle and the water weed forest that waved around it. The light of the morning sun flickered on the gentle waves at the surface, bathing the floor in a strange, greenish light. His room was amazing. Roughly rectangular, an entire wall was taken up by a floor-to-ceiling aquarium, filled with his pet tropical fish (sent on ahead from Britain). The remainder was a simple combination of regular school-kid and water related objects, with model boats, luminous plastic lobsters and fishing nets occupying most of the surfaces. Reluctantly, Gideon left the water molecules and reformed his atomic structure into his human form. In this state, he was liable to all the usual desires, wants and pains any ordinary person would have; most notably food, drink and comfort (and yes, that as well, but come on, he is only 15). Grabbing a bagel from between two inflatable dolphins, he dragged on some fresh clothes (no need to shower, he sleeps in water for goodness sake!) and burst through the door, dragging out a map from his pocket. Yesterday, the Club's stands had been in the Gardens. Gideon noticed a stream and at least two fountains on the map, and made up his mind to find and memorise their locations. He didn't want to dehydrate and shrivel up like a prune. To the north lay the main school buildings and the dormitories, where he was now. Nearby lay the Stadium, and next to them, the Pools. Gideon hefted his backpack a little higher, and bounded down the corridor towards the entrance. (OOC: Didn't arrive at the club because I'm waiting to see if an NPC will be assigned to it.)
