EDFS Andromeda Bridge The arrival of the Battlestar was noted, as well as the Culling of Prospero, though they couldn't particularly see either arrival from the bridge, But it was noted on radar, and that allowed Flynn to pass the message off to the Admiral. "Sir, we're picking up two new ships. One is the Culling of Prospero, the other is an unknown class. But they're big sir, about 1400 meters long." That was..impressive, to say the least. It as bigger than anything in the EDF Fleet, by a long shot. And then Dmitri added to it. "They're hailing us, claiming to be something called a 'Battle'star. They want us to identify ourselves. Shall I send back to the standard response? Oh, and the Culling of Prospero wants to know if we need assistance with our nearby guests." Hijikata shot off brisk commands. "Send them our identity, and tell the Culling of Prospero that we can handle it." Dmitri nodded and turned to the radio. Firs toff a message to the new arrival. "Battlestar Columbia this is the Earth Defense Forces Ship Andromeda. We have no desire for conflict, but will defend ourselves if attacked." Then, the Culling of Prospero. "We copy Culling of Prospero, however we have this situation under control and do not require intervention at this time." Cabrera chimed in as Dmitri worked. "Sir, the Lady Rose is requesting leave to depart." Hijikata gave that a dismissive wave. "Granted. Commander Roche can stay down there for the moment." Cabrera nodded and relayed that to the hangar bay, unaware of what exactly had transpired down there. Fortunately for him, anyway. Meanwhile, Hijikata turned back to the video communication with the Jotunheim. "My apologies about the interruption. Things are a bit busy. As for your request, I believe we can accommodate a tour of the Andromeda. Given the unlikelihood that both of our vessels would use Wave Motion technology, a comparison would certainly be welcome." if anyone disagreed, they did not voice it. Certainly not when communications were open. He was the Admiral, and his word was law. ---------------- Hangar Bay The ship exited Warp and Roche woke up, the experience still being similar to what he knew. Except it was apparently a bit much for the crew he had come with ,as one of the Ogryn was hit hard with a case of Warp Sickness. That caused all kinds of commotion, from the mess and the stench, as people shouted and cleared the area, and EVA gear was put back on, including Roche's. It was worse than...well, there wasn't really anything comparable to it. But it did spur them into quick motion, which was good. A request was quick sent off to the bridge and received, and amber lights flashed as everyone either suited up or left for a pressurized area, and the hangar door opened to allow the Lady Rose to exit, as well as having the side effect of depressurizing the bay so the smell was no longer an issue. They quickly set to work then once the Gunship departed for it's mothership, cleaning up the mess as best they could before they had to use the Bay again, hoping to neutralize the smell now before they had to open it up again when the next ship arrived. Sometimes being a deck hand sucked.
