Dominick left the house as they had a lot of time before dinner. He wanted to stop by those old ruins and pick up the robot remains, of which there wasn't much of. Taking the form of Dark Matter, Dominick salvaged what he could, which was enough for what he needed. This... Conversion Engine was what interested him the most. However it, as well as the entire being, would take a lot of material to construct. More material than he had right now. He'll have to figure out a way to gather the mass he'd need another time. This place was giving him the creeps. As Dark Matter was traversing the city he saw the Titan's Tower out in the bay. Taking a position on the top of a building on the other side of the coast, Dark Matter produced a sniper's scope and look at them. It seemed like they were all outside with Superboy, talking about something. If Dark Matter had to venture a guess, they were trying to figure out how to save their missing friend. If they even knew where she was at. Dark Matter than began to weigh his options. While he didn't like the Teen Titan's, if he gave them hints to finding their kidnapped ally than maybe he could get into their good graces, make them see his way a bit more. Or at least stay out of his business. But the problem than would be that not everyone would agree with Dark Matter, and if Aria was proof of anything, not all heroes cared for matters of "Right and Wrong" aside from what fits their perception of it. It was certainly relying on a lot more moving parts than Dark Matter was willing to work with. The other option is to find that man from before and warn him about the Titan's raid. The question still begged if the Titan's even knew where to look for him; although the warehouse district was hardly the most subtle place to hide out (It gets a lot of use), the Titan's wouldn't know that she's there immediately. At least Dark Matter doesn't think so, and even than it'll only be a matter of time. If he could convince the man of this, Dark Matter could broker a deal between the two. But than he have to trust the other man not to betray him as soon as Dark Matter fulfilled his end of the bargain. And with these mercenary types, it's hard to really keep their loyalty. They go to whoever pays highest, they would say, but than the heroes buys them out and now what do you have? Mercs hardly ever keep to their contracts and would turn tail and run as soon as danger rears it's head, even if their job is to stand their ground. It's this sort of mentality that made it hard for Dark Matter to try to find that man now to work something out with him. But Dark Matter didn't want to sit on his butt trying to figure out both the Titan's before the opportunity escapes him. Times like these, it was best to go with his heart. Dark Matter absorbed the scope and ran off. --- Donny looked up from the table as Francis just teleported in. "Ah, you. That weird kid from the jewelry store." Donny took out some checking books and went to work tallying today's profits and costs from that incident from before. "I'll tell you the same thing that the ones from the store did. We'll call you if we need you. You're not going to get anything else just because you keep asking. Now please leave, or we will never consider hiring your services."
