From what I read and garnered from the OP, the issue was people claiming to be experts. While I noted in the CS that she is able to use magic, self-practice was scarce and obviously not going to be making tsunamis anytime soon. If it is an issue I can easily edit it out to simply knowing she could do magic but never done it yet.
