The fact that two of my characters in my story were named Dak and Sera is a reference to a set of books, Infinity Ring, that came about by sheer luck. Somali for Honesty is Daacad, and Bengali for Kindness is Udarata, but since that was long-winded, I settled upon calling her something angel-like: Seraphim. When I realised that Daacad was shortened to Dak and Seraphim shortened to Sera, I was like, "Ooh, that works", and rubber stamped it.
