Another thing, if Ampharos didn't want to declare war on the allies, why was he secretly getting himself poised to invade the Ottomans with the help of Prussia? 

Yes, to those who don't know, that was happening in the background, and that's largely where this whole thing came from. I am literally following more or less what Ampharos was going to do anyway.

Or maybe not. His plan was to "fake an alliance with Prussia" and then rejoin the war against them, apparently. Or was it? I don't know. Maybe there's more information that should see the light?
