Kalinda blinked when Michael asked that question, and she looked over the city thoughtfully. She found it hard to imagine not having met Michael. "Probably just be looking for a purpose" she said after a time, looking back to him. "I never considered teaming up, or even ending up in a relationship. I always thought I was too weird, or too out there. Normal kids just don't get the whole hero thing. If I never met you, I imagine...well I imagine i would still be doing what I was doing. Hunting at night for criminals or for bad things that I could stop, never imagining something better out there"

She stared at him, trying to figure out why he had asked her that question. "You give me purpose, Michael" she said softly "I can't imagine my life without having met you"
