He was ignoring her protests as he brought her along, he began noticing that she was walking with him. Once he passed with her through the thick brush of plant life they were practically invisible to anyone outside of the forest. He began to accelerate his step a little, he could easily hear a stream flowing accompanied with the sound of it bouncing off of a large hollow area. A cave, that was good, maybe it would be a good place to be until she was well enough to travel.
