I would really like to participate in the RP, even if I dont have a mic at the moment.

I was thinking of using "Farseeker" Xukhezur Kavinath as my character, who is detailed in my signature, with reference links and extended information.

The Forgotten Realms D&D setting from which he was sprung... sets a precedent for the proven ability of his people (the Imaskari) to build very powerful portal terminals (among other things) that are capable of opening two-way portals to locations on other planes and planets, providing the plot device needed to explain this character's presence in your world.
