Steve was glad she was alright, and when she assured him, he gave a smile and nod. The dramatic show she put out with her foot made him roll his eyes and laugh. "Alright, I get it, I didn't hurt you too bad, which is good." Steve said, as he gently took her back in dancing position... It was rather nice. Although it was simple, Steve was having a tough time with the foot work, the smell of her perfume, and the way she held on to him... "I think its the teacher. I don't think i'd be this alright at it without your advice." He said, trying hard not to mess up again. When asked if he wanted to "Spin and Dip" he was caught off guard... until he realized she was talking about a dance move (God he was clueless... he did think fondue was another word for.. well, you know...). He listened to her instructions, and gave an assuring smile. "Don't worry, I got ya." He said, a bit of courage pushing through him. Most people would believe him when he said that... It was probably because he gave off the sense of power and hope. He slowly raised his hands, letting her spin under them, her perfume filling his nose, and as she was done, he put his arm on her back, and leaned forward, letting her do a dip. For a moment he started in her eyes, giving a grin. "Not so bad..." He said, his eyes traveling to her pink lips, then back up to her eyes... She was beautiful, perfect, and with Frank Sinatra helping him out, he was very tempted to put his lips on hers... He moved his lips closer to hers, keeping her up, cautious on whether he move closer or not... just when his lips were about to touch hers, until a loud alarm went off. Steve jumped a bit, but held on to Sharon, not letting her fall. It was his cell phone... great time to interrupt... He knew it was important. He rarely got calls, but when he did, it was usually Bruce, Tony, Natashia, or Director Fury. "I... sorry but it might... be work." Steve said with a look of apology and embarrassment. He looked at the screen to see the message from none other than Black Widow. "Hold that thought, I'll be right back." He said, a weak smile on his lips as he walked out of the apartment, and in the hall. "Natashia? Are you alright? What is it?" He asked quietly, pacing the hall. "I think I found someone for you." Her voice said simply. Steve paused for a moment, trying to make sense of what she just said. "What?" "I think I found you a nice girl. She works at S.H.I.E.L.D. Field operative, loves to kick some ass. Just like you." She said casually. Steve rolled his eyes. For a while Natashia would ask Steve about his love life... and many times he would find something to get away from that conversation. She wasn't someone he wanted to talk about girls to. "Look, Natashia, I appreciate it, but i'm too bus--" "Enough with that, we both know you have a lot of time now. You even have that list you have that you're going through pretty fast." "Alright, I might not be as busy... but the last time you did this kind of thing, it didn't end well." "Steve, I know I have done this a lot.. but you deserve someone, right? And this girl deserves someone too. her name is Sh--" "Again, I appreciate it, but... I'm alright... I..." He hesitated, then puffed out his chest. "I'm actually, working on getting a date." He said. There was a pause. "You're joking." "why is that a surprise?" "No, its not just--Who is she?" "She moved across the hall from me. All youre getting from me." With that he hung up the phone, sighing. He knew that it was only a matter of time before she did her own little spy work and figured out who it was... Just what he needed. Steve knocked and made his way back in to the apartment. "False alarm... Just one of those toll free numbers I heard so much about." He said with a smile, hoping she wasn't too mad at him just walking out like that, especially right before something that Steve would have very much enjoyed.
