These past few months were easier for Peter. School was the classic "Hey, peter, how much are you paying Rogers to keep up this whole 'girlfriend' thing?" He would usually respond in a witty comment... and that would leave him trapped in a locker (until he broke up open after everyone went in to class). Lexi and Peter spent time together as much as they could. Either spending time kissing, doing homework, or just being their goofy selves. There were also times of crime fighting. Peter never really got used to it, and usually kept very close eye on Lex when she was out, but it was nice to have someone helping him out in the terms of super heroics. The Rogers family seemed to be more and more happy with Peter being Lexi's boyfriend since the whole "harry turned evil and tired to kill our daughter" thing. Now the winter rolled in. Peter wasn't really the happiest this time of year... It was about family, and being together... but Peter's family only involved him and Aunt May... plus, it was really cold out in the Spider-Man suit. For Lexi's and Peter's three month anniversary, Peter decided to treat her to real cuisine.... and by that, it was their favorite diner. Peter wore something nice, He was there for a bit, tapping his fingers on the table, flowers and some chocolate by his side. A bit cliché, but he was still new to this relationship thing... and girls always loved these things, right? Peter started to tap a rhythm with his hands, getting a bit in to it until he realized the whole diner was staring at him... he gave an apologetic laugh and smile, and slowly stopped, looking out the window. He saw the white bug that Lexi recently got, and he smiled. She climbed out of her car and started to make her wa-- His spider senses went off, and to his horror he saw that a man held a gun up to her head. Peter got up, and ran for the back exit. ----------------------------------------- Peter really hated muggers. That's what killed his uncle, and that's what was going to kill Lexi if he didn't do something. he did the world record suit changing, and He silently crept up behind the man holding the gun to Lexi's head. "Didn't even open the door before you mugged her? Chivalry really is dead." Peter said sarcastically, taking the man's hand in lightning speed, and twisting it behind his back in an unusual angle. he ripped the gun out of his hand, tossed it aside, and then forced the man away from Lexi and her car. "Hope he didn't cause you too much of trouble, ma'am" Spider-Man said with a sense playfulness. "Enjoy the rest of your night... and you might want to take a seat at the table with the flowers and chocolates at them..." Peter said, smiling behind the mask. He grabbed the man again, and decided to take him somewhere far from here, so they wouldn't have to worry about it on their date... But as Peter hung him up on the street lamp, peter ripped off the mask. "Now I know what you look like... I don't ever want to run in to you doing something like this again. Understood?" Peter said darkly. The man nodded, horrified at the web head. "Good. Have a nice night in the slammer." And with that, Peter was off. -------- Peter walked back in to the diner with his normal clothes on, running a hand through his messy hair. "hey, sorry, had to find a place where the cops could get him." Peter said, kissing her cheek. "You look beautiful...." He sat down, and from under the table pulled up the roses and box of chocolates. "Happy three months." He said with a smile... Hopefully she didn't think it was too cheesy.
