Vash nodded, listening intently to the Bangaa’s explanation. Based on his description, most of the challenges seemed simple enough — though Vash was certain they’d all have [i]some[/i] sort of twist to them. At any rate, the only one that got him really concerned was the “defeat someone in battle” sort of challenge. He could only hope that the rules for such fights would be lenient enough that he wouldn’t need to kill his opponent in order to win… 

But he’d save that concern for later. “So, these past challengers,” Vash spoke up. “What sorts of beings were they?” he asked. “I mean, it makes sense to say they’d be just as diverse as us, but, just how powerful were they? Did this Day 19 group have any near-gods or…?”
