Jinx fixed her hair and knocked politely on a large black door. There was some quick bumping and a loud curse before the door was open and a tall, slim man with shaggy blonde hair, green eyes and steel rimmed spectacles stood before her. He was in a pair of dress pants, a rolled up white dress shirt and a black vest, beneath a thick rubber apron and a pair of rubber cloves covered in blood. He smiled his British accent highlighting his words,"Oh Ms. Haven..I suppose you didn't come here for a pot of tea." Jinx smiled up at him,"Oh Edgar how many times do I have to tell you. Call me Jinx. We are friends." She stepped into his personal space, and cocked her head to the side,"Besides..I hear you have some new friends for me to meet." Edgar sighed and moved to the left, and raised his hand,"You know, I really should learn how to say no to you." She smiled and walked past him into the house,"Oh, don't be like that. You enjoy my company as much as I adore your work." She brushed her fingers over the stacks of books around the house. She looked around at the random mugs, eloquent paintings and odds and ends filled the space. He coughed and nodded towards the back door. She shrugged giving him a cheeky smile before moving towards the door and down the hall. Edgar followed right behind her and spoke softly,"I received the new victim of your work just this morning...You really put on a show for Phantom." Jinx frowned reaching the bottom of the stairs,"I don't need to hear this. He was a sick child rapist and got what he damn well deserved." Edgar crossed his arms and looked at her with cynical eyes,"I agree. Yet I want to know if you did it out of revenge or for your bloody guilds reputation. They are getting worse you know. The people that are sent here are criminals true enough, but most of them suffered unimaginable horror before they died. You know better. I know you do." Jinx turned away from him and her own damn guilt before moving to the sleek metal boxes and spoke softly,"That's it though Edgar, Do you really know me." He moved to stand behind her and pointed to three closed boxes,"Who cares what I know Jinx. It's what you know that matters. These are the ones you want. Three Legion soldiers. High class and after a very important target. Be careful please." With that he walked upstairs and Jinx pursed her lips. She sometimes hated that man. He always knew how to get to her morality. Humanity was a thing she seemed to forget on occasion. It was probably why she came here so often. Edgar seemed to always bring her back. She shook her head and turned back to the boxes. She opened the first one and spoke softly,"Okay..Let's see what you know."
