I agree with you, actually... I rarely agree with people (Halvtand is my witness). The resurrections/evil guys gone good/random powerups seem to be something tha generally sneaks its way into almost all manga/animé. Especially the random powerups. Especially in animé. It can really kill a good basic idea.

In Denmark, school is free. We can take and all the education(s) we want [i]and[/i] get paid while we do it with something called Educational Support. It's not a shitload of money, but it's enough to pay rent and have food every day (if you live in a tiny studio apartment and eat nothing but oatmeal). You even get paid if you still live with your parents, just not nearly as much (half, in fact) and get paid more if you have kids and stuff... The Danish wellfare system is awesome.
I have a lot of educations (we need educations to do pretty much anything (even to clean)). I've obviously got my chef/pastry chef/butcher thing, you already know that. I also told you about my courses in art. I've got a degree in English, Danish, Physics and Biology. I took some classes in working with wood (*insert perveted joke here*) and some in working with metal... That's pretty much it.
However, I do not work and haven't since I was a teenager (15-16). Not really, anyways. The State has decided that I am not well enough to hold a job, so they pay me for doing nothing. I can't handle just being at home all the time without going stir crazy, though, so I do get some "temp service" jobs every now and then. Currently, I have been at home doing nothing for five months.
