Matt rushed back to the village from the SOLDIER outpost as fast as he could, ringblade in hand sliding vampires in half and their heads off as swiftly as he could move. "Damnit! After all this time guarding this god forsaken village we get ambushed, despite havinga decent guard unit they are still decimating us.." Matt yelled, mostly to himself seeing as there wasn't anyone but vampires around that could here him amongst the chaos.

He eventually reached the center of the chaos, he saw a group of SOLDIER surrounding a ccar spraying out mist and water. But these weren't normal SOLDIER outfits, they looked like older uniforms. Could this be the band of people that fled the main SOLDIER unit? Matt couldn't possibly care less currently.

Vampires still attacking from all directions, slaughtering everyone in their path. One happened to knock Matt down, his ringblade flying just out of reach. He turned over on his back, unholstered his magnums one in each hand, and before firing said "Watch where the fuck your going bloodsucker" directly into the vampires skull that had knocked him down and into a few others that tried to surround him.

Suffering nothing more but a scratch on his face and a few on his chest he stood up and holstered his guns, walking over to retrieve his blade. Picking up his blade he heard some strange sound coming from towards the front of the car, a little ways from it. He walked slowly, good grip on his blade. As he walked closer the sound grew slightly louder, until it began sounding somewhat like crying. Off through the mist the car was producing he saw the shadow of what looked to be a person.

He quickened his pace, reaching said person in a few minutes. He turned them over and to his
annoyance it was Chase, badly wounded. Cursing under his breath he thought of what to do with her. She clearly posed no threat, as he had never met a vampire that wasnt enlisted in SOLDIER that would rather run that snap you in half. Against his better judgment, and the fact that leah would probably be pissed if she found out he killed her, he picked her up and slung her onto his back holding onto one of her arms so she wouldn't fall off and so he could partially maneuver his blade.

He began running back to the outpost to the infirmary. Seeing as every SOLDIER stationed was currently in the village trying their damnedest to defend said village he could get in unnoticed. Reaching the infirmary he slid her off his shoulders onto one of the beds.
