Shu might be awake now but he certainly needed someone by his side for comfort. At least that was what Yumi was convinced of, and she wouldn't leave even with the growing sense of retribution nagging at her. After teasing a 'boop' on his nose she returned to rubbing one of his hands, anything for a bit of contact with the little Saiyan. "I'll explain, okay? I don't know everything though, so there's going to be some holes. You'll have to ask your brother for the whole story." Or perhaps it might be best that she get the brothers together, then they could relax together and Shu could be given the proper turn of events. "On second thought, I'll go get Takeshi, okay? I'll just be gone a second." Almost in a motherly show the Beastman leaned down, placing a light kiss on the kid's forehead before getting off of the couch and leaving the room. She knew the older boy was off in the family room, but she wasn't aware that Vegeta would be stopping by to pay a visit, or whatever he might be doing. Not wanting to interrupt she leaned up against the wall, humming while she waited. "Nah, our stomachs aren't sensitive. I'm just... Not very keen on eating when some of my food might leak out." It certainly didn't feel like there was a hole in his gut, at least besides the ones on the surface. It would be incredible luck but it was possible that his organs had been missed altogether. Once he knew for certain then maybe he'd eat something, but only once he was positive it was safe. Once thing was certain; healing was going to take a little while. Even if only a few hours that was still time lost to confront the general, who know had properly dug himself into a pit. Having his own medical care finished Takeshi didn't see any further reason for T'charrl to linger, figuring there were other things he might want to do. In his own idiocy the way he mentioned it came across as rather crass. "I didn't mean it like that," the Saiyan said suddenly, "I just mean you don't have to watch over me. I'm sure the others could use a hand, and I'll probably just lie here anyways." Smiling apologetically Takeshi pushed himself into a partial sitting position, reaching out and patting the alien's shoulder. "Thank you for the help, but I'll be okay now." Just as he spoke Vegeta came to the room, immediately giving reason for T'charrl to leave. If Viral needed more help than just Vegeta his condition must be serious, which was the exact opposite of what had been wanted to be heard. Offering some support for the idea Takeshi watched as the others left, glad to finally be alone as he laid back once more. "I appreciate this, really. I don't know what more I can do for him," Vegeta said as they walked. At the kitchen door he noticed T'charrl stopping, inciting a confused look from the Saiyan as he turned about to question the alien. So he was afraid of Viral hurting him? Frankly he couldn't see a reason why, oblivious to what had happened earlier in the forest. If it meant that the Beastman would get help then he'd wholeheartedly agree to the request. "Of course, whatever you need." Cutting back to the table the Saiyan looked down at his friend, smiling apologetically as his hands went down and clasped around Viral's wrists. "Just a precaution while he tends to your wounds, okay? He's going to help with the burns." At the moment Viral was still on his stomach, meaning the burn on his back was the first to be dealt with. Once it was healed or had begun to heal they'd flip him over and do the same to the other, and hopefully that would be that. Yumi kept to the wall until Vegeta and T'charrl were well out of the room, slipping in just as Takeshi was settling down. "Don't get too comfortable just yet!" she chirped, smiling at the Saiyan. Takeshi jumped slightly in his spot, wincing as he agitated his wounds. "What... Why not?" he asked, frowning as he looked up at Yumi. "I just want to rest Yumi, can't I do that?" "Sure you can," she replied, standing at the side of the table. "With Shu though. I bet he wants to see his big brother." Leaning herself over she went to slide an arm under Takeshi's back and legs to lift him up, instead being pushed away. Rather confused she looked to the boy before her, letting her hands rest at her sides. "You don't want to see him...? He's awake you know and I bet he's wondering where you are." Takeshi looked up at Yumi with a hint of skepticism, frowning to himself. Shu wanted to see him after what he'd done? Or was he unaware of what had happened? Torn between keeping himself hidden out of guilt and agreeing to his brother's request he was properly conflicted at the moment. "I do want to see him... But what if he's mad at me for screwing up? Or for what I did? I can't face him if he's going to be disappointed with me..." "That's what you're worried about? Do you hear yourself?" Yumi asked, putting her hands on her hips. "Look. There's a little boy in the other room whose got no clue what happened. He seemed upset and I can only do so much for him. Maybe you did do something wrong, I don't know. What I do know is he looks up to you and trusts you, so you should go there to try to help him." It was still a lousy thing to have to do, but Takeshi couldn't argue with Yumi really. It was his own personal feelings keeping him away, and true or not Shu could likely use his brother's help at the moment. "Fine... Okay..." he relented, glancing up at Yumi. "Just don't tell him I was sulking, okay? I don't need him worrying about- Hey! Wait!" Apparently 'okay' was all that the Beastman had to hear, lifting the Saiyan up swiftly after the word had passed his lips. Huffing indignantly he was carried like a child to Shu's location, feeling uneasy as they entered the room. "Shu? I've got a guest for you!" Yumi chimed, smiling happily. Taking a gander about the room she settled on placing Takeshi on the other end of the couch, trying her best to mind laying him on top of his brother. Once settled in she clasped her hands together, rather pleased that she had likely helped out. "I'm going to go see how Viral is doing, you two have fun." A look of frustration came her way from Takeshi, but she just shrugged it off and left the room, heading directly to the kitchen to look in on her other friend. There was no helping it now, they'd have to talk. Takeshi kept his glare on Yumi until she had left the room, relenting with a soft sigh before looking down at Shu. His brother was laid out as flat as could be, and with everything wrapped around his head and neck chances were he'd not be lifting his head. That's my fault... I did that to him.... He might as well have, that's how he felt over the matter. Managing a weak smile the older Saiyan shifted his foot, nudging his sibling's to let him know he was there. "Uh... Hey buddy. How are you feeling?"
