Samuel had sat himself down on a table. He had already heard what Erik was saying, Charles explained it to him a couple weeks ago. Certainly, Charles wasn't as crude with the words as Erik was. But Erik's words had impact. He looked over each and everyone of them. The young man knew how to tell people from one another. None of them seemed.. Too out there. Certainly, a few of them did seem a bit out of place. The brash one from the south, standing behind the bar with the coffee, who's name Samuel had not heard certainly looked like she had been through a lot. But then there was the upper-class elegant lady, Kimberly, Samuel heard her call herself, she didn't look like she'd belong here, either. But of course, they were all mutants. Samuel rose an eyebrow at the scrawny guy whom started asking for 'basic needs'. And soon everyone else caught on, well, except for the poor Japanese girl who spoke with broken English, Samuel being surprised that she understood what was going on. He rolled his eyes at the guys who introduced themselves as 'Talon' and 'Leach'. Sam stood up. “I for one would like the help. Gonna be hard to stay hidden when I might take out a skyscraper by accident.” Samuel stated, wanting to lift the mood of the place. “ Oh, yeah. I'm Samuel, by the way.” *** Erik looked around the room, as just about everyone had questions, but their questions were more or less the same. He let out a soft chuckle as they all seemed to worry about a roof and four-wall, along with food and water. “Not the response I expected. But it's good to see that you are all intelligent enough to cover all your bases. You'll be provided with a place to live, and food and water, your basic needs will be provided for. Charles will provide you with that. As for your question, Estella. I'm medically trained, and can help you with everything short of a heart transplantation.” Erik informed her. Erik flipped the light switch, and snapped his fingers again, the blinders on the windows and doors opened, letting in the sunlight again. “Charles and Logan will be back down any minute. You'll be given a bit of time to talk with each other, grab something to drink or eat. There should be sandwiches in the fridge. Try to make friends. You'll be shown around the facility later.” Erik promised. Before he turned to Estella, whom was holding the drink in her hand. With a scoff, he looked at her. “ I'd advice you all to stay away from alcohol, even if you're an adult. Your abilities are difficult enough without complicating things further.” Erik said, grabbing a bottle of soda from the fridge behind him.
